What a journey it has been. What blessings we have received. Thank you, Lord for the precious gift of our son! Our prayer is that he will grow up to be a Man of God. We are human parents. We need your help to raise him in the paths of righteousness! May we always count our blessings and enjoy ALL of the little moments as we watch him grow!

What a fun weekend. Grandparents came from far and from near! Uncle & Aunt, cousins, & friends were around to enjoy supper with us on Saturday night. How special are the times we can share with those we love. It's wonderful to make memories that can be savored later.
Sunday was a special day. . .
Church services in our new shed. A wonderful message. Convicting questions. New determination to study the Gospel of Jesus. Lunch with family. Outside time with the kids. Water balloons. Fireworks.
Chatting with good friends. Kids running in the grass. More memories to treasure.
Then Monday . . .
Mom taking the day off from her work. Games with the newly turned 5 year old. Lunch with Dad since he only had to work 1/2 day. Naps. Birthday presents. Playing new games. Haircuts for Dad and Boy. Dairy Queen ice cream compliments of far away cousins (Happy Birthday, Ethan). Coming home to "drop-in" visitors. :) Chatting late into the night about countries south of here. Buying airline tickets for Dad and visitor. Crawling in bed VERY late, but still wanting to pause and record memories of another milestone for Ethan.

Happy Birthday! what a cool cake! I think at the rate we are going it will have to be Hello kitty cake this year for us, but last year I got to make a cool dragon cake so all is good!
