of plane trips & mudslides. . .

The Husband/Daddy left Friday night for Honduras.  We have been working on not being too selfish about that this week.  There are other Husband/Daddies with him and they are going to be doing work for the King.  We know that we are not the only ones missing someone and that there will be blessings.

Compassion Bloggers left for Guatemala on Tuesday.  As I was reading Ann Voskamp yesterday, she had a wonderful thought for our family. . .

Her daughters were struggling with her leaving just like we struggled with our Daddy leaving and they said:
We're never far apart when we're all in Jesus.

Just a wonderful thought for us this week as we wait for the work to be complete in Honduras and Guatemala.

Since part of our hearts are in Guatemala, we were sad to hear about all of the mudslides and  rain.
We are praying for those that have lost family there.  We are also praying that the Compassion Bloggers have a wonderful & safe trip.  Can't wait to read all their stories when they return.
